Job Description

 Tools and test instruments. 
 Distribution parcels/switchboards. 
 Ensure integrity of electrical plant and control systems 
The systems and equipment includes, but are not restricted to the following systems, their components and specific features: 
 Voltage Systems > 500 V and Voltage Systems < 500>a. Equipment isolation 
b. Earthing arrangements 
c. Permit to work systems 
 Electronic and pneumatic control systems | Electrical equipment in hazardous areas – Ex i, Ex d, Ex p 
 Maintenance and repairs of electrical equipment, generators, alternators, motor controllers and related electrical circuits and automation. 
 Maintenance and repairs of electrical steering system, overload relays, motor controllers and related electrical circuits. 
 Installation, maintenance and repairs of shipboard electronics, navigation and communication equipment and accessories. 
 Correction of malfunction of troubles of various complex and interrelated electronic / communication systems by testing, locating and repairing defective parts ICS or units of the systems such as condensers, resistors and transformers.
