KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Remote Voyage Planning Support

  • Assist in preparing voyage plans (berth‑to‑berth / mission‑based)
  • Validate routes, waypoints, safety contours, and navigational constraints
  • Compile relevant navigational warnings, weather inputs, and planning assumptions
  • Prepare voyage planning packs for Master or Operator review and approval

Remote port Planning & Documentation

  • Prepare port arrival and departure documentation (ISPS declarations, crew lists, arrival forms)
  • Coordinate with port agents to track submissions and confirmations
  • Consolidate port information into structured port‑call packages

Remote Certificates, Compliance & Documentation Control

  • Track vessel certificates, class conditions, and renewal windows
  • Prepare compliance snapshots and audit‑readiness documentation
  • Support provision of certificates and documents to internal stakeholders or clients when required

Skills and Qualifications:

Qualifications and Experience

  • STCW Officer of the Watch (OOW) or higher
  • Minimum 1-2 years of seagoing experience as a Bridge Officer.
  • Familiarity with voyage planning tools, ECDIS, and stability software.
  • Working knowledge of maritime regulations (ISM, SOLAS, MARPOL) and vessel documentation requirements.
