KORPIL Shipmanagement and Manning Corporation was incorporated with the Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) in 1992 as a Stock Corporation, and is duly registered manning agency under the Philippine Overseas Employment Agency (POEA).

As part of its policy we are offering high quality but cost competitive service packages to principals, KORPIL Shipmanagement and Manning Corporation has involve itself in three main activities to answer the present maritime industry requirements.

Crewing, being one of the major cost factors of operating ships was chosen to be the principal activity of the company. To meet the operational requirements of said activity, KORPIL Shipmanagement and Manning Corporation has developed new strategies and reorganized itself to be able to address particularly the shore personnel's competence issue. Another area that recently been upgraded is the crewing department which has efficiently adopted new system in identifying training needs of its workers as well as competence assessment procedure prior to boarding.
